hello everyone,

in September I found a large lump at the back of my tongue, probably 3cm long and 2cm high. For months and months they said it wasn’t anything to worry about. I self diagnosed it as lingual thyroid but I saw a cancer surgeon and consultant and he suggested biopsy and removal, In March they did an MRI, and I am having a biopsy of it on the 3rd May.

has anyone ever had anything similar or a biopsy from lump on tongue who can tell me recovery time and how long I should be in hospital etc. I didn’t ask as much as I’d of liked to in my pre op.
