Hard pea sized lump on anus

hi, 

yesterday I discovered a hard pea sized lump on my anus.  It’s like a marble, circular.  I’ve had no pain from it really except since I’ve been feeling it, but I’m concerned as it’s not like previous haemorrhoids I’ve had.  It can’t be pushed back in. I have had an episode of bright red bleeding in recent months, approx a month ago I would say, but this hasn’t persisted.  I have been emptying my bowels very regularly and with more urgency than ever before. I’m in my late 30s. 

Am very anxious about it and am looking for any experience please. I’ll go to GP tomorrow

    I'm sorry to read that you've had this experience. It's now been a couple of days since you posted and I see that you were planning to go to your GP - they are of course best placed to advise on your exact situation. I hope you've been able to see someone and that you now have some more clarity.

    Otherwise, hopefully some others will be along soon here if anyone has had similar experience that they can talk about.

    Hi, omg I have the same, I’m a 37 year old female have never had hemaroids or any issues but had this last year a small hard pea sized ball in my anus, I noticed it when I was in the shower and it’s not painful, it just went away by itself but has now come back around a year later so now I’m feeling concerned. I went to the docs last year and they didn’t know what it was and booked me for an examination at the hospital and then that appointment got cancelled and I never heard anything then it disappeared. I have had very loose stools for the last few days which I don’t know if this is linked and scared to go to the docs as hate these kind of examinations.. what did the docs say and how is everything now?

    Hi yes I did, the doctor said it was just a pile and it's went down on its own after several weeks. I have got IBS which flairs up when I'm stressed or anxious about stuf so that explains the other issues too x

    Hi I currently have one and I'm so anxious about my gp appointment next week. Its tiny pea size hard between my anus and crack.of my bum. I've been having ibs bouts recently. I it doesn't hurt but since I felt it I feel like I can feel it.
