CRP levels high

Hi, I have blood test results which have high CRP results 44mg/L plus a lump on my lower left side that can be felt on examination and seen as 7cm on an ultrasound scan. The scan nurse thought I had a second uterus as it’s outside the uterus (I haven’t) but said it could be a large fibroid. When I saw the doctor today he explained that it could be Cancer! I haven’t had an MRI as yet but worried sick. All other bloods were fine apart from the CRP results. I’m so confused as to what it could be? Nurse said she could see my ovaries and they looked ok.

    Welcome to the forum. 

    I can understand you may be concerned with your initial tests but your doctor won't know more until you've had the MRI. While you wait for that to be scheduled try not to worry as this will only bring your mood down. Maybe you could try talking to a friend or family member about how you feel.
