I went to the GPs with a ache in my bottom, had an examination, doc felt something that wasn't right.

Now I'm fast tracked to the colorectal department and awaiting a telephone conversation on Wednesday and getting really anxious about it all.

Any advice??

I just wanted to stop by and say hello.
At this point, there is not a lot you can do until the call on Wednesday. I can imagine you'd be a little anxious until then so here are some tips to help you cope with the wait. I hope the call goes ok.
