Hi,

I was diagnosed with stage 2b cervical cancer in August 2018. I received chemotherapy (only managed 3/5 due to side effects) radiotherapy for 6 weeks and 3 brachytherapy. I finished in November, had my scan and given the all clear at the end of January.

I started having discomfort and very heavy watery, smelly discharge a few weeks later. Painful using my dialators and occasional bleeding.

After seeing my consultant last week they have me booked in for a biopsy under GA on Monday and will await another MRI to put together another treatment plan if needed.

Has anyone else had similar or dealing with a recurrence? I'm concerned it's going to be bad news and the wait for results is not doing my brain any favours at the moment!
