Hi

my husband is 46 and he went for a X-ray after a bad cough. He got called back 24 hours later and referred for a two week wait appointment for suspected cancer. 

he now has a date for his appointment. It says it is a one stop clinic and he will have bloods taken followed by a CT scan then a hour later an appointment with the specialist for the results. 

Does anyone know is this normal procedure and are they likely to have the results from CT scan one hour later. From reading the forum people normally have to wait for results. 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated x
