Hi All,

im feeling a bit nervous about an upcoming appointment to have an endoscopy/xray and biopsy... here comes the back story.

9 nyears ago i had an outward lump in my thyroid went to the docs had a biposy and all was clear, had a partial thyroidectomy on the left side. fastforward to 12 days ago, i started to feel like there was something in my throat, i observed it for a couple days and then went to the doctors. this lump/swelling is inwards and feels like there is something in my throat (bottom of the throat). symptoms wise i feel like i have to constantly clear my throat, voice gets a bit croaky at times and the past 4 days it feels like my ear on the right is blocked and i cant unblock it. i have been extremely tired the past few weeks also. worth noting that my aunty (dads first cousin) had thyroid cancer about 20 years ago. now my appointment has been fast tracked and is on monday which is also my birthday. im just nervous about the whole appointment and dont know what to expect from it. if something is untoward will i be told that day or will i still have to wait, or does anyone know what i should even expect from the appointment?
