Hi all im new to this forum, i had biopsies sent off on 16TH of march i just phoned the surgens receptionist and she told me they will talk to me about my results in august at the clinic......it seems along time to wait and worry does this seem right ? scary times.

  • Welcome to the forum James although I'm sorry that you're having to wait until August to find out the results of your biopsies.

    Did they explain why it would be that long? If they didn't and you're worried, it may be worth getting back in touch with them to find out.

    Our members know how tough it can be waiting for results, so hopefully you'll receive some support and advice from them soon.

    Hi Steph,

    the receptionist just said they would talk to me about the results in the consultation. Its a bit strange as the letter for the august appiontment came through the door about 4 days after my colonoscopy so maybe i will get a letter soon with closer date.
