yes I was going to contact my gp this week if not heard anything.unfotunately can only make appointments in my practice every Friday at midday so have to wait until next Friday to make appointment fingers crossed will hear back from consultants secretary this week in the meantime as she said urgent cases get looked at by covering consultant. It's just a bit of a head wrecker I know I have to have full hysterectomy what ever the diagnosis i had my pre op 2 weeks before ct scan for that so over 2 months ago. It's just the not knowing re cancer and any further treatment that may be required and of course date for surgery. I know they are very busy and lots of people worse off than me but the not knowing adds to the stress.

Hi there, I completely get what you're going through. I'm having a similar problem chasing my CT results and the secretary tells me that she can't say anything as not medically trained and I just have to wait it out :(

I'm really sorry about your situation and I hope you get answers soon. Have you tried asking the secretary if a different consultant could write up your results since yours is away? I don't think they realise how agonising this can be!

Hi yep secretary said if urgent covering consultant would look at she said she was printing records off and pass to someone to look at took my number and said she would contact me to let me know what was going on but still waiting for call back since last Thursday.  It's over 21/2 months since referred and 2 months today since saw consultant . Just have to hold on in there and bide my time as best I can keep coming up against brick walls. I know they are very busy and a lot of people in same position.just need to know what I'm dealing with so I can hit it full on and get sorted. Feel like in limbo. Hope you hear good news very soon!
