lump behind ear

hi,

basically about a week or so ago I found a lump behind my ear.Its quite painful and I have never ever experienced anything like it before.Since finding the lump I have become very tired and get really dizzy most of the time.Im so scared I don’t want to go to the doctors in case it’s bad news,I’ve also read it could just go on it’s own.Could anyone advice me what to do

    Hi, 

     I usually wait for two weeks before seeing my GP on anything that I don’t deem an emergency but in your case, due to you having dizzy spells, I would want to see my GP sooner as being dizzy could be dangerous in certain situations;driving, walking down stairs etc.

    i don’t understand why people don’t want to go to their GP in case of bad news - it could be even worse news if they didn’t.

    be brave - make that appointment.
