Hello Emma.crooks; welcome.  We who post here regularly do not have any medical training and it would be wrong of us to start making guesses. You have done the right thing by going to your doctor who seems to be working diligently to diagnose your symptoms.  I know you are looking for information but bad information (which may have no relevance to your condition) is worse than anything!    I would like to say to  you "Don't worry" as I know you are going to do this anyway but the situation sounds to be well in hand and I very much hope that you will soon know the outcome and start to feel a lot better when you know what the situation is.  Best wishes.  Annie
