So a couple weeks ago I noticed a lump in my breast. its 1cm long and 3cm wide approx. I have no pain or any other symptoms. The dr has referred me to the breast clinic and I am not sure what is likely to happen there apart from an ultrasound or mammogram. Feeling nervous, even though I know at my age (21 years) it is unlikely to be malignant. 

I guess I am just looking to calm my nerves. Do they normally ask for biopsy? Will I get results that day?
