Hi just wanting to know what other people’s symptoms and experience are where they have had one enlarged tonsil.

My left tonsil is enlarged and lymph nodes in my neck are up. I have had occasional night sweats. I am tired all the time (although could be work stress). My voice can at times sound horse and I’m starting to feel as though I can’t clear my throat. 

I have seen the GP multiple times. I had a swab which came back negative, then tried antibiotics. I then had a blood test for glandular fever which was also negative. GP isn’t concerned but has sent me for a non urgent ENT referral which is finally coming up next week. 

I would appreciate it if you can share your experiences.
