Hi, I’m just questioning why?

i had been referred for an upper gi endoscopy where biopsies were taken , that was 2 weeks ago... I’ve had no word back but when I’ve called my report is in and have been told I’ll hear back soon.

that was on Friday last week. Then I was told the consultant would need to take a look as she can’t read the results. On Tuesday I had 3 ‘no caller ID’ missed calls . I rang the hospital and was put through to a and e receptionist... they were confused to why I was forwarded to there , I was then asked who my consultant was then said ‘ ahh, that would explain everything ‘ ...confusing!?

today I’ve rang my GP and I’ve been informed that the consultant has requested blood tests to be do within 10 days and a letter had been sent on Tuesday..I’m confused? Why no one can tell me anything else? Should I be concerned? Or should I think I would have been told if anything was bad news? X
