What was the result of their findings? Did you have to have a surgery to take it out? I'm currently going through something similar and just waiting for a referral appointment. I hope it all worked out well for you.

I'm going through something very similar at the minute. I had a pelvic MRI on Tuesday for a complex cyst and I'm anxiously waiting on the results. I keep bursting into tears, imagining not being here with my partner and dogs. It is a scary time. Every time the phone rings I jump.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know, my thoughts are with you too.

I'm going through similar too. Waiting on results from a pelvic mri earlier in the week for a complex cyst. Pretty scared, so I know how you feel too. 

Sorry to hear that Imorrisey. If it's any consolation to you I have been told it's most likely endometriosis. Unfortunately my CA125 levels came back really high (398) so I have to be referred to gynea oncology because it will need to be operated by multi disciplinary team. Very confusing for me. But I'm hanging onto the fact it's 99% not malignant cyst. 
I hope you get some answers soon. The waiting is the worst!

Hi sorry to hear that you are going through this, my bilateral complex ovarian cysts were benign, the left was wrapped in extensive adhesions that took over 4 1/2 hours to remove l fortunately had an oncology surgeon who was used to difficult surgery. The left side pain one of my symptoms has now subsided . I was pleased to have the surgery as they can be precancerous lm over 65.

I'm sorry I'm only responding now, I guess I've been trying to take a break from the constant worry - pretty unsuccessfully if I'm honest.  My MRI result indicates that they think I have a large dermoid cyst on my left ovary, and two functional cysts on my right ovary, plus a couple of uterine fibroids.  I have been referred to NHS gynae consultant but have been told that despite it being an urgent referral, it will be November at the earliest before I am seen.  I am currently waiting to hear back from Benenden to see if I can get a gynae consultant appointment any quicker through them.

My stomach feels very tight and bloated some days, and I am having increasing constipation.  I have been back and forward to the GP about it, but she is useless and just suggests increasing the laxado sachets. My partner and friends try to reassure me that I don't have cancer and that everything is benign, but I know that they won't actually know until the cyst is removed and tested, and my increasing trouble going to the loo is really stressing and worrying me.

Anyway, sorry for the rant!
