The word relief is not enough to describe how we feel at the moment. The BCN told us the news that the breast cancer was the primary site and no other signs of cancer showed up on the CTscan.
We just sat hugged each other and cried.
My wife now has a plan to tackle the beast which we have nicknamed 'Cersy Lanytit' after the Game of Thrones villaness Cersy Lanister which will get it's just deserts in the end. We are trying to keep her spirits up and she has an amazing sense of humor which will help all of us through the next 6 months.
The grade 3, 2 - 2.5 cm tumor is going to be blasted with chemotherapy first which we all know will test her but keeping spirits up knowing that it can be cured. Let the battle commence.
