I have had a sore throat for 18 months, doctors always just gave me antibiotics, told me it’s anxiety or just a virus. 

Fast forward to now, weight loss, trouble swallowing, still sore throat and a lymph node I could feel in the RIGHT side of my neck so -

i get to the ultrasounc this monday just gone, she check s the lymph node on the right , that was normal.. HOWEVER she moved over to the LEFT side of the neck and told me I have MULTIPLE suspicious lymph nodes in the deep cervical chain part of my neck. 

I now have an ent appointment this Thursday. 

Has as anyone had this , what was your diagnosis??

i mean iv had the sore throat 18 months so I’m suspecting a cancer that started in my throat .

im terrified I’m only young and have two children to look after. 

Am I right in thinking this could be - 

1-throat cancer 

2- lymphoma 

3- came from somewhere else in the body

4- some sort of inflammation even though bloods are normal, esr rate normal. 

Anyone have multiple suspicious lymph lymph nodes in neck?
