Going crazy!

Hi All

 

I had a recent urgent referral to hospital and then was sent for CT scan and a colonoscopy. 

During the colonoscopy they took ten biopsies and removed a sessile polyp. Whilst they say no news is good news I’ve still not had any feedback from my CT scan (two weeks ago today). I know that the biopsy results will take longer.

Apart from the physical affects I’m now starting to worry about the results.

I’m not sure what to do, I don’t want to annoy the hospital.

    I'm sorry to hear about this and I understand you must be feeling worried. Uncertainty and waiting is really difficult and how you're feeling is of course perfectly natural.

    I'm unfortunately unable to advise on the process, but I would suggest not reading in to the waiting time, and not assuming anything.
