Hello Claire, 

It must be a bit of a shock to you to be told that they have found something and a biopsy had to be taken after being initially told all was clear. I can imagine you are feeling rather confused by it all. 

Perhaps you could ask them for more information on Tuesday when she has the biopsy - they might be able to tell you more then or they might need first to do the biopsy in order to establish exactly what it might be. 

I do hope your mum improves soon and that you have a little bit more information when you see them on Tuesday. Do keep us updated if you can!
