My dentist is concerned by some patches in my mouth, he has referred me urgently. Bit worried as I did not go dentist for many years and d9nt know how long it has been there.
It's good that your dentist has referred you on. This is standard procedeure when screening for cancer and 9 out of 10 people who are referred do not get diagnosed with cancer. I can understand it can be difficult, but try not to worry too much. You can read about the referral process here.
