Worried about cervical or ovarian cancer

Hi I’m 23 years old and past month I’ve been having bad period like pain it’s getting worse I’ve been to the doctors and she’s taken swabs I have treated for a water infection last week but this pain isn’t going and I’m now getting pains in my hips I’m so worried I suffer with health anexity so it’s making it a lot worse! I suppose I’m just looking for some reassurance really and has anyone experienced this and turned out to be nothing xx

    I'm sorry about the pain you're experiencing and the worries that are playing on your mind at the moment. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the results of your swabs to come back but do let your doctor know about the pain if it's got worse as they may be able to provide you with something that may help to relieve it.

    Hopefully other members who have been in similar situations will be along soon for a chat but in the meantime try to stay busy if you can and distract yourself whilst you wait.
