Hi I just wondered if anyone could help I'm getting a bit concerned about my bleeding as I have gone months without a period I had my implant took out over 3 years ago now. I have been on now since 11th February and I'm still on till this date now. I have been to the doctors on numerous occasions as it affecting me with work and things as it gets that heavy it goes through night pads so Im scared to go out I had my smear test done and it was abnormal I got sent to the hospital and seen a consultant he said it was nothing to worry about he was hoping it would go away on its own and booked me an appointment for a year. My doctors have since prescribed me with transmexic acid which I have had a few lots of now it worked and slowed my periods now but now it isn't working at all and I'm due to start a new job tomorrow and I'm just a bit worried I'm in the doctors again Friday as I had cancer in my chest when I was 13 years of age so I am a bit worried and stressed that my doctors don't seem to be doing much to get to the bottom of it. Has anyone else had problems around this topic.
