Go to the doctors and get it checked, I know they’re your parents but it’s your body and you know what feels normal. X

I am definitely not an expert but I'd say go get it checked out. If nothing else it can put your mind at rest. I have a lump above my collar bone and when I went to the GP a few days ago he seemed very surprised I hadn't come in to have it seen sooner, despite no other symptoms than a bit of an aching neck. You have nothing to lose letting the doctor take a look.

Thanks! I went to GP today and they said it's nothing to worry about since it's not painful despite telling them that's increasing in size ect. I'm not do sure but my parents seem to agree with GP so I guess it could be nothing.

It probably isn't anything serious to worry about. It is probably a lymph node. If you are really worrying about this, then do go and see your GP and ask them to look at it. They are very used to being asked about lumps and bumps on a daily basis.

I am afraid I don't have an outcome as yet. I was given a week of antibiotics to take to see if they take the swelling down  I've just finished those and it's still quite large unfortunately but I think it is softer than it was before. I am booked in for a scan on Monday 25th. Have you visited your GP? x
