Hello Fowstya1,
It sounds like this is a very stressful time for you and that you are shocked and confused by the results. Perhaps it would be helpful to you to give your doctor a call and share your worries and I am sure your GP will be able to tell you more about how HPV is transmitted and answer your questions which I am sure will reassure you.
I just wanted to share some information we have about HPV on our website with you.
I hope this helps to clear up any confusion or other questions you have playing on your mind at the moment but do feel free to give our cancer nurses a call if you feel like chatting to them will help. Their freephone number is 0808 800 4040 and they are available Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m
Best wishes,
Lucie, Cancer Chat Moderator
