Hi there, most of us panic when we don't have a clue what is happening.  Unfortunately the waiting for results is the worst thing, the unknown is scary.  No one can really answer your questions as NHS procedures seem to be a law unto themselves!!  I was sent on an emergency two week referral, attended that, a endoscopy was discussed and apparently being put in place, four weeks later I'm still waiting, so try to stay calm, at least a plan is in place, even if you have no idea what it is.  Let us know if all is OK.  Kind regards Carol 

Hi, thank you soo much for the reply, it means a lot, it really does. I think I’m overreacting as the word plan was used, they said the results would be 5 weeks, that was t the end of January, the hospital said six weeks today. Heho.

I think you've hit the nail on the head, Plan means going to do something but it could be anything.  For example I had breast lumps, non malignant but a plan was put in place because they needed to be surgically removed.  Not everything is bad news.  Pleased I helped a little bit.  Carol
