Hi I had a smear came back abnormal, 

had a biopsy with consultant removed tissue to send to the lab, 

went back to a follow up appointment for results 2 weeks later, 

for my consultant to say the lab are saying they haven’t received my biopsy. So he then send me for emergency surgery the next morning day surgery for LLETZ ( to treat HG cells & suspicion of cancer. 

I have my surgery to wake up and be told I’m being admitted to hospital my oxygen levels are really low and I’m badly emnemic that I have to go on a drip. 

Go to a ward within one hour I lost 500mil of blood 

so rushed back to emergency surgery to have stiches and a vagina pack to put pressure on my cervix along with a cafta. 

2 days later I was allowed home. 

On my discharge forms it says 

needle cone biopsy of cervix for investigation of invasive sqauamous cell carcinoma? 

Histopathology sent! 

What is this & what does it all mean as this was never explained to me or even told I was under investigation for this? 

Is been 7 days today & I’ve herd nothing back.
