Hello Lady Truman; pardon me but you a member of the titled gentry or maybe your beautiful dog is?   There can be a variety of reasons for results taking so long (I have learned from this forum); sometimes the systems break down, or somebody is off sick, or they want to run another test.  In your shoes I would ring and ask what is causing the delay.  I realise it can be a double-edged sword - you want the results but at the same time you fear receiving them!  Give the hospital a ring as your worry will keep increasing.
