It is scary but the doctors are wonderful and understand our fears. The doctor will explain the pathology results and what the treatment plan is. Try and take some notes and don't be afraid to ask questions. I did and the doctor was great, not rushing me at all. I didn't take it all in but my husband did, thank goodness. It is good that you will be going with your sister. I actually felt better afterwards because I knew what I was dealing with.
I know you will be strong for your sister but it's ok to be scared.
