Hi I’m in exact same position. Went for first mammogram 4 wks ago as I turned 50 in December. So got a recall letter which I had missed due to being away over half term so had to wait 6 days on next appointment. Went then for the recall tests which included mammogram, ultrasound and a biopsy so told to go back Monday of this week for results, the week was sheer agony I just went through it in a blur but had to keep going for my family.  So Monday arrived and hospital phoned to advise results not complete as further tests needed. So as if first 2 wks weren’t bad enough I’m now in a final week of what I can’t put into words. But having found this forum it has helped me so much as at the start I was asking Dr Google everything which believe me is not the answer. Keep strong and think positive as your not alone and the lovely nurse at the breast unit has advised that extra tests do not mean worse case scenario so let’s all keep our chins up xx
