Symptom advice

Hi everyone, hope your all well.

Went to the gp today for continuous bloating, dull aching in the back, abdominal cramps and pains in thigh. When examining my left side of my stomach it was excruciating and I almost cried, have been refered for an ultrasound. She never suggested ovarian cancer, but it does run in the family and or maybe I'm just overthinking.

the leg pain is however getting more intense making it horrible to stand, I really don't want to waste a&es time but I just don't think I can wait so long to be checked out when I know in my mind something is wrong. would I be wasting there time when it could just be something so silly?

thankyou xx

  • Hi Larns91,

Thank you for posting.  I can appreciate that it must be worrying for you if you don’t feel that your problems are being diagnosed properly and if you are unhappy with the way you are being looked after by your current doctor you may want to consider getting a second opinion. You can find out more about this here

I hope you find the reassurance you need soon.

    Best wishes,
