Looking for advice

Hiya

My mum recently had cervical polyps removed. Shes 66. Mum was told she would get results within 2 weeks and has now been told she must return to the hospital for these results next week? Should we be worried?

Would be so grateful for any advice......we dont live near our mum and trying to take in all shes telling us over the phone.

Her GP called her yesterday and informed her that she has to return the the hospital next week for her results?

Is this normal......or is this usually not good??

  • Hi Zara and welcome to the forum.

Supporting a loved one who is waiting for results can be very tough, especially when you're not close by, but try not to over think things if you can. I know that's much easier said than done but the more you think about it, the more you'll stress and worry which isn't good for you or your mum at this time.

Hopefully some of our members will share their experiences with you soon but try to keep busy and distract yourself until your mum finds out more.

Fingers crossed for good news next week Zara.

    Kind regards,
