I really hope everything goes well today. I get what you mean about being ill. I'm exactly the same as you. Work really worry whenever I'm ill as it's so unusual.

I received a diagnosis of a large cancer that has spread to the lymph node. I had a bone scan to see if it has spread anywhere else. A CT scan is booked for Friday then next week I will receive my treatment plan. I would be lying if I didn't admit this has knocked me side ways but what I want to now is to begin treatment asap.

My results weren't what I wanted to hear and I'm waiting not so patiently for my treatment to start. 

I know the hospital are going as fast as possible but it still feels like forever waiting for the treatment plan that will be next week.

Further waiting as bone scan showed hotspot in hip joint and CT scan enlarged gland in chest, small nodules in lungs and other breast. 

I will have  a PET scan on Wednesday this week. Just want treatment to start.
