Breast clinic tomorrow

Hi

Ive posted on here twice now and dont seem to be getting any response or support so i though id try one last time.

8 weeks ago I went to the doctors after suffering from servere itching and tender breast. The doctor said I had thickening but due to my family history of both nana and mum having breast cancer at my age she would ask the hospital for advice. I went back 3 weeks later to be told i wasnt eligible for a mammogram until after my 40th but to send me for genetic testing. Then she examined me, my right breast was larger and the thickening had grown so she referred me for an emergency appointment.

2 weeks ago i found a lump in my right armpit, roughly the size of a grape but doesnt hurt. I have since found a pea size lump n my right breast last week. Im extremely itchy on my nipple and very tender, the lumps dont hurt. Im constantly exhausted, feel tired all the time.

I am due at the hospital tomorrow morning and feeling worried how things are changing.

has anyone experienced the same?

  • Thank you for replying, it was disheartening not getting a respose.

Im being positive but at the same time concerned as to how quickly things have changed from 8 weeks ago from itching and now 2 lumps. Im not usually a person that worries, ive had a lot of problems and always keep my chin up but this is affecting me. When i found the lump in my breast, it was the first time i broke down and cried.

When i went to the doctors the 2nd time, she wasnt going to refer me but just have the genetic tests but it was as soon as she examined me and it was so tender thats when she said get yourself dressed and went to her desk, next thing i know shes made me an emergency appointment.

I know it will probably be nothing but you know your own body when something isnt right. My nana had breast cancer at my age but then again 5 years ago, this time no symptoms except itching and larger breast, unfortunately this time she wasnt lucky as it had spread and was very aggressive.

Thank you for the information and as you said, ill get some answers tomorrow.
