has anyone had any answers yet ? I was referred over a year ago to breast clinic and the women said it was hormonal as I had no lumps and as I was only 27 st the time she felt no need to scan me . But I do not belive its a hormonal . This pain is unbearable I’m takin pain killers way to often it’s just not right . I noticed this past year my left breast become much lumpier but when I returned to GP she didn’t feel anything unusual tho I’d never had lumpy breast before and I dnt st all in right breast. Iv stopped wearin bra jus to feel some ease st times  and Iv even found myself holding my breast in public without realising because of the pain .   I’m returning to GP this week for the 3rd time  . Hope you all find positive answers .

I went to gp and he also said hormonal to me but I get this pain when I have a tight chest from asthma so I went back he upped my inhalers and its not come back since.

I'm sorry if that doesn't help but maybe worth checking if it's that? 

I'm sorry you're going through it too. It's very worrying and I sometimes think the anxiety of it makes the pain worse. I hope your gp appointment goes well and you get some answers. 

I'm the same the pain in my left boob in my shoulders done my arm  it's horrible I can't feel any lumps but there is a long lump not sure if it's tissue I'm going to see the nurse tomorrow I hope to get some answers 

I was finally in the breast clinic today, I had a scan and nothing came out, the pain is due to a change in hormones,  I also have numbness in my hand but the doctor said it was not from the breast but from the back.The only what I got was to take evening primrose oil

First of all i can't believe i have found a thread with the exact same thing thats going on with me.

Im 34 and this year have had two miscarriages, i had slight breast pain on and off since October and i have had 3 examinations by the doctor, they told me they could not feel anything and to stop worrying. I also have left arm pain and currently i am only having sorness under my arm but i do also have a cold. I went to the breast clinic, expecting all the tests and expecting the worst. He only checked me, told me it was good news i was fine and to take star flower oil. All i hear is that its hormonal. I understand what you are all going through, i suffer with sever health anxiety and just feel why am i in pain or i cant lay on my left side etc. Its really hard and i feel i can't even say anything to my husband or family now because the doctor said i was fine. How can they know i am fine without tests?

Did they give you an examination or ultrasound.

i had this years ago and had an ultrasound twice. 
nothing was found.

it's been over three years and I still get this, so annoying.

It's easy for me to say, but honestly at the breast clinic they really know what they're looking for and deal with breasts all day, i would be reassured by what they have said. Stress makes my breast pain worse. I don't know if this could make yours worse too? Xx

It could be, at the moment it's mostly my shoulder and under arm. I guess my shoulder pain could be going to the under arm? It's all very confusing but I just would like to wake up one day and have no pain at all!

I've currently been experiencing something similar for the last few months, pain/tenderness/swelling in left armpit radiating towards the breast. Went back to the GP for a second time this week who has sent me for an ultrasound. Hoping to get some answers but interesting to see so many people on this thread having similar issues. 

Have they sent you to the breast clinic for an ultrasound? I wish they had done that for me so I at least had some answers. I'm sure it's all fine xx

I think the ultrasound is just a general one but they said it may be triaged to the breast clinic. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage - I also miscarried earlier this year and this issue started whilst I was still pregnant so I assumed it was hormonal at first but it doesn't seem to have gone away.

Hopefully it is just hormonal for us both. Mine definitely just comes and goes throughout the day and night, it's not stoping me from doing anything but I think about it all the time. What did you say to the doctor to get an ultrasound? How long do you have to wait? Feel free to message me whenever you like xx

Thankyou! It's nice to have support. I think she agreed to refer me as it's the second time I've been about the same issue, they said I should hear back with an appointment date within 7 days. I hope it's not too much longer as I'm the same as you - it's all I think about and I'm getting increasingly anxious about it. 

That's good they have done that! I was surprisingly ok when I waited two weeks for my breast appointment till the day. I just generally tried my best not to think about it. I struggle atm that I can't talk about it, I feel like my family think I'm a joke but it's my fault I have these pains x

Hi all I went on o the breast clinic 1 year after the 1 at time they said it's hormonal and they have me an ultrasound which he said was fine to I had 2 examinations that day and they did offer a new trial drug but I refused it's put my mind at ease I can't believe so many woman have this it's very strange 

It's awful as in a way it's reassuring I'm not the only one. Does anyone else also get hand tingles?

Yes - I've also been getting hand and arm tingles - it's hard to know if it's just anxiety as I getting so worked up about it.
