Breast lump biopsies, pain and waiting for results

Hi,

ive not posted in a forum before but I am getting increasingly anxious, I found a lump a year ago but after 2 painful biopsies was told it was just normal Breast tissue. A year on and the lump has over doubled in size and I found an additional lump :( was sent back to breast clinic where they have performed more biopsies which are even more painful than the first, my question is has anyone else experienced this amount of growth in a lump that was diagnosed as normal? I was told they will probably want to remove the lump that has grown so fast which means more painful procedures. They’re both in my right breast, my left breast has not a lump or bump in sight! I’m so worried and extremely battered and bruised ! Thanks

  • Welcome to the forum Tandy although I'm sorry for the reason you find yourself with us.

Hopefully some of our members who have been in similar situations will be along soon to share their experiences with you but our cancer nurses are just a phone call away if you'd like to discuss this with someone. Their phone number is 0808 800 4040 and are available Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

Wishing you all the best with the removal of the lump. I'll be thinking of you and hoping this procedure will be less painful than the others.

    Kind regards,
