Hi, this is my first post so hopefully I get this right. 

My mum recently (just before Christmas so about 9 weeks ago) noticed her right breast has swollen, unfortunately due to her stubborn nature I only persuaded her to to go the doctor on Monday, they have referred her to the breast clinic for an appointment on the 25th February. 

Of course I have been googling every little article I can find on swollen breast and I now fever I may have made myself paranoid especially about her having Inflammatory Breast Cancer. I can’t see any other articles online about what it could be. I have made myself paranoid. 

She has no other symptoms expect a swollen and slightly harder breast. None of the other illnesses I found online could make sense of just having 1 swollen breast (instead all I find is. Pages and pages of Inflammatory breast cancer symptoms!)

is there anything else this could be? I fear googling everything has made me paranoid, she is only 47. Appointment not for 10 days and I’m already worried sick. Thank you for letting me rant
