WELL, colonoscopy fearers: it was FANTASTIC.  I was inwardly terrified after reading internet, couldn’t have sedation due to low blood pressure so had gas and air. Didn’t need it particularly but boy, did I take advantage of it - I don’t drink or drug so I take my fun where I can!  Honestly, the whole procedure was handled with respect (special shorts with hidden back opening) and understanding (I was scared). The staff and Dr chatted to me throughout. It was fascinating. All that wasted emotion in the run up. The worst bit is drinking the moviprep.  Do do it though, or the bowell inspection won’t be as effective and that’s just as waste of everybody’s time.  I hope this helps :)
