Hi Kylie, sorry to hear of your experience. It’s awful having to wait for results. Biopsy results can take a long time, mine took over two weeks to come back from the lab. Were you assigned a breast nurse? if so give her a ring, also surgeons are rarely in their offices so it might be an idea to ask for his/her secretary details and call them. 

Hi, I'm way behind you in that I'm still waiting to get a biopsy done (but it's a nail biopsy). I have no idea how I'll be getting through more than a month of potentially not knowing. If my worst fears are confirmed it's had plenty of time to spread so I'm going out of my mind. My kids have picked up on it... It's a very trying time. All I can say to you is that you aren't alone and I hope your results are negative.

Hi DBird, you sound very together. The complete opposite of me. I'm paranoid about everything. Tonight my 1 year has been unsettled and he never is. Is he picking up on it? My other two are also being extra cuddly and last night my eldedt refused to sleep till I got home to kiss him goodnight (I was at an evening consultant appointment).

I hope and pray for a positive outcome for you after what must be very difficult. I have always found inspiration when I meet cancer patients or those who have been through treatment and come through the other end. Whatever happens I'll get through, but the thought of my husband and children is what's tearing me apart. I've had a discoloured nail for about 5 years but was always too 'busy' to have it checked. So I'm a victim of my own ignorance and stupidity. I just can't get rid of the sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. What if my result is positive and it's too late for me?
