Awaiting results

I am 38 yr old woman. I had a colonoscopy/polypectomy 3.5 weeks ago and still not had my results from histology and biopsies which were taken during the procedure. During colposcopy i had alot of pain despite the sedation due to alot of scarring and adhesions. 

I have had pelvic scans due to a missing left ovary which is presumed to had attached itself to my bowel. The polyp was found on the ascending colon. 

How long should it take to recieve results? Should i think no news is good news?

    Hello Karalou81, 

    Waiting for results is a really anxious time as many of our members will remember and I hope you do get some answers very soon. As it has been a while, it might be worth giving them a call and asking whether the results have now come through. 

    I hope you will hear from others here who have experienced a similar wait for this type of results and that they will have some good tips for you based on their own experience.
