Yes if been going round in circles for the last few years but  know its got so bad It burns even more when I'm eating and after my throte feels so uncomfortable 24\7 gong to ask for a scan or to swab my throte something ain't right but they will not belive me cause it's been going on 2 years I think something has been there all along made it worse when ent said if it's been going on 2 years it should show it's face yet docs say if it was something sinister you would be gone months ago wow not got much hope anymore just give me a test that will say 100% defo cancer or not cancer if not what's causing it cause its not normal take care all

I am sorry to hear about the symptoms you have been experiencing for such a long time without having any answers about what the cause is.

I can appreciate you reaching out to see if anyone else has felt similar things to you on the forum. Whilst you may get some replies from other people remember everyone is different and the cause may be different to yours.

It seems like you have seen several specialists and have numerous tests and it reasurring that everything has come back normal. If anything sinister was going on you would expect one of the tests or examinations to have shown up something irregular or abnormal along the way.

Sometimes symptoms occur and there are no real answers to be found about what is going on. I do suggest you go back and speak to your GP about this and how it is affecting your everyday life. Hopefully they can suggest some other things that might help you.

I am happy to say a year on it's completely gone, after some other appointments and a ultrasound scan on my throat, there was still no diagnosis, gave me some antibiotics and it kicked it out of the park, I also think I was drinking too much hot coffee from costa, my throat is completely better and I hardly drink coffee anymore just in case it was a possible cause,

Hopefully you can see from a past post that these symptoms can eventually go. There are many possible explanations and do not actually mean that it has to be cancer.

If you haven't already been to a GP or if the symptoms are continuing, do make an appointment with the GP. You can have a chat about your concerns and be examined.

Omg this is how I feel. I found out I had a hole in my heart only  last year ....which was sorted out this year ...something I was born with and I'm 39! . I've had a sore throat and mild chest pains for months ...and I'm scared I've got endocarditis.(I'm high risk of developingit)..but it so frustrating that I'm telling my GP to look at these things 

I'm waiting to be seen by the hospital  ..also said it could be acid reflux...my sore  throat and mild chest pains started in January 2020 .. but I do have device put in my heart so I need to have that ruled out first ...also think It could be long Covid ...cos two of my friends said they get sore throats frequently!
