Went to see the doctor last Tuesday with constant pain in groin and lower abdomen. I was told to wait to hear from the hospital regarding a scan. Since been up to A and E to get some stronger painkillers (only co-codamol) which I am taking 24/7. It is now Saturday morning and I fell this weekend is going to be a long one.

Just for the record, I had testicular cancer back in 2000.

Does it really take a week or more to be given an appointment for the hospital when  in constant pain, maybe I am expecting too much too soon, but given the nature and severity of the pain, I figured I would have heard something by now..
