hi

i had a smear last Monday & the nurse found a mass of polyps & I have been referred to hospital 

i started bleeding after they had been messing around with me & the next day had to make an emergency appointment & the doctor told me to rest. I have got a Hospital appointment for Monday for a scan. Am dreading it,

i had polyps years ago at 29 I’m now 57

had a laparoscopy & a D&C iunder general anaesthetic 

after that I had my 3rd xhikd

had no issues until now

am a bit concerned to say the least

Thanks for your message! Ive just got back from seeing a specialist and had an internal scan....its looking very likely I have vaginal cancer. Im 37.... I had bloods taken and am awaiting an mri now. 

just read your post im waiting for two weeks to see a doctor because my cervix is got fleshlike lumps inside ,i stop menstal cycle six months ago im worried to im 58 years and intercorse is impossable.

How did you get on?? 

I have a polyp coming from within my cervix which was found at a smear. Smear test came back clear. 

I'm waiting for a surgery date to have it removed in day surgery but am terrified. 

Hi how ur treatment went i want to have a polype removed from cervix which i have for years now , ur polype was benign?

In the lead up to my surgery, I started passing huge clots and the polyp had actually started descending and could be seen and felt. The hospital said that was fine just wait my surgery! I continued passing clots, and when I went in for my endoscopy, the polyp was gone!

They took samples from my cervix and womb and I then received a letter advising it was a benign polyp that had gone on its own - must have been the clots I was passing!

Hi, I recently discovered/felt many lump in my virgina/cervix. As it was a bank holiday and a weekend I have to wait till Monday to see my doctor but I'm very frightened and worried and was wondering if anyone could give me further advice. I can't see them properly, only slightly with the use of a mirror, I mostly feel them inside and they go quite deep. I don't have any bleeding and they don't hurt, it is however uncomfortable to touch them.

I've found a growth on entrance to vagina wall and also a hard ledge like lump on my cervix 

I am due to be seen next week but its worrying. 

I have had bleeding after intercourse and was told I had a strepococcal infection off the swabs a couple of weeks ago 

Any information.ation would be helpful
