So, I recently tore my subscatalis, the tear was detected in an MRI scan, anyway, I went to my GP for the MRI results and the doctor told me that the specialist that had reviewed my MRI had noticed a ‘few’ (unspecified) masses attached to my nodes (in my armpit). I had found a lump on the side of my boob/armpit in 2017, had it checked with an ultrasound at my local hospital and all came back fine. Obviously back in ‘17 I was worried but in the back of my mind it was ‘in my head’ and ended up being nothing.
But this time, I’ve been told by my GP that there is a mass there, and I’m petrified and I Guess that’s because there’s definitely something there, but wether it’s cancerous or not... who knows? I have been given an urgent referral to my local cancer centre (even more worrying). I have no idea what tests or anything that they will do at the appointment, or what could come of it. Has anyone had any similar experiences? For reference, I am a 21 year old female.
Thanks,
Charlie
