Swollen lymph nodes

Hi,

I’m just a little concerned and curious about lymph nodes and wondering if anyone else has had the same.

ive had a problem with a swollen lymph node for around 6months,doctor originally gave me courses of antibiotics to see if it was up through infection after which he referred me to a ent consultant.who has now referred me for a scan and biopsy, which I have next week. I now have another two lymph nodes up- neck and shoulder- so have 3 . I am not I’ll in general but have been excessively tired, lack of energy, occasional night sweats, pain in chest and ribs and had a cough that won’t shift since xmas ( apparently chest is clear) I put most of this down to being anemic but wandering if it could all be linked.

Has anyone had this and how did results come back.

Thankyou.

  • What was the outcome of this? How did your lymph nodes feel ?

I currently have a lump on my right collarbone. GP referred me for a scan which I'm having end of this week.

I am terrified, literally worried sick.

I have no symptoms of anything at all and feel perfectly well.

The lump its self I can squeeze between my fingers, feels like a little bath ball. It's also slippy and moves around easily. Its just under the skin so moves when I turn my head.

The GP wants to check it's not a lymph node. If it is, then it needs further investigation. I'm hoping it's a lipoma as if it's a lymph node I will be really scared.

  • Hi there.  In recent 3 weeks a few small nodes have come up under my arms, 2 now so tiny I think they have almost gone but one still quite lumpy - pea sized.  Not sore but was tender when first came up.

Im wondering if stress can affect nodes?  The summer holidays with kids at home (both beign assessed for ASD so very very tiring and stressful) is when i noticed them and giving them another week to see if they go down bit more.  If not will go to GP.

Im stage 1A low grade ctcl

    Sarah.

  • Just wondering how your doing?
