am not a medical professional.
hello! Sorry to hear you discovered this in your armpit, am pretty sure there are glands there, and glands swell if we are not well to fight off an infection. Or they swell when your body if fighting something, is is fixed? Can you move it? Always get lumps checked out by a GP, just for peace of mind, but I don’t think it’s any cause for concern! But still book an appointment, we all have lumps and bumps and most of the They’re harmless! Don’t scare or stress yourself :) take care!

Hey hun,
Firstly, I just want to let you know that I understand how scary finding any form of lump is. I've had quite a few scary experiences with lumps in my breast, and when first finding them, my mind always went to the worst possible thing, so I understand your worries. My family history shows that in 5 generations, only 2 people from both maternal and paternal sides, died from something that wasn't cancer. So this puts me at high risk alone, and I'm currently being referred to genetics for testing for the BRAC genes, as they think that the breast cancer my Nan passed from, and the one my Mum is currently fighting through, is one that is mostly from that gene.
Sorry to go on about myself, I just want you to know that you're not being silly, and so that you shouldn't be worried about going to your doctor. If the lump moves, it's more than likely something else other than cancer, but now that you've found it, it's best to just go get it checked over, for your peace of mind as well as anything else. Some people use up doctors appointments for a cold, so you going with something that does need checking, is actually using them properly. Explain to the GP that the lump does come and go, and try to explain as much about the lump as possible, such as the size, how it feels, whether it moves with the tissue or stays still, if its soft or hard. These things will help build up an idea of the lump for the doctor even if you have made the lump go away. But ideally, try not to do that and let it be visible and there to see when you go to your GP. And if they fast track you for the breast clinic or somewhere else, try not to worry too much (impossible I know) as this is just usually to be extra cautious.
You'll find so many others on here that can be there for you and give advice, and who you may feel you can open up more to. I really hope you do find those people who can empathise with you too. Feel free to message me any time, please don't hesitate.
In the meantime, go see your GP, and let us know how you get on. Good luck, sending light and love to you.

I have been to doctor who told me to wait 6-8 weeks to see if the lunch node would go away by itself. It hasn’t and they have referred me to the Breast clinic and I’m terrified of what they will find.
I know how hard it is, but try not to worry about the fact of being sent to a breast clinic. This is within guidelines that GPs must follow when dealing with things like this. It may very well be a cyst as they can be stubborn things that dont seem to want to move! But everything will be checked at the clinic so you'll be in safe hands.
Let us know how you get on,
Lots of love,

Thank you. It’s all I can think about. I’m absuktejy terrified that it will be breast cancer or cancer of some kind.
No problem, I know how that worry feels. Just try to keep yourself busy, and vent as much as you like, whether to family or to us! It's a scary time so getting everything off your chest will be better than hanging onto it
Lots of love,
