Hi. I've had this redness on my breast for nearly 2 months. I originally saw a nurse at the Drs surgery who suspected it was from my bra. Reassured, I was sent on my way. Since then I have had a swelling in my armpit which I suspect is a lymph node, but it feels quite deep. I haven't been unwell so I got this checked out again. I saw a different nurse who looked shocked that I was sent away the first time and has referred me to the breast clinic (appointment on next week on the 13th). I also have my drs notes online and the nurse recorded it as "suspected breast cancer".  Obviously I googled and obviously I'm dying imminently of inflammatory breast cancer. I'm so worried about it all. I'm only 28 and have two very young children. I'm usually fit and well. Have no cancer at all in my family history *touch wood* and the breast swelling does not itch/hurt/feel hot and the texture feels the same as the rest of my breast. The red patch is about 20cm x 10cm. The lump in my armpit does not hurt either. Does my photo show 'peau De orange?' I'm so worried. Has anyone had anything similar?
