hello! Am sorry to hear you’re going through all this stress! I can understand why, the first thing you need todo, which is easier said then done I know, is it to not worry, worrying will, make you feel unwell! Stop googling, googling symptoms is something medical professionals tell people not todo, any symptom can Relate to any form of cancer. So don’t google, google only shows the negative things. It could be telling you things you won’t even have and you’ll make yourself believe that you have something that, you don’t. It could be loads of things, am sure you’ll be fine! Hi, a lesion can mean anything, inflammation, damage etc don't Google, you'll only find scary things. I actually googled it there and it came up as meaning so many things x

Welcome to the forum, Hawkers.  We say here that Dr Google is a quack who should have been struck off years ago.  It is meaningless.  Nobody can make a diagnosis without examination, questions etc.    Did they give you any idea of how long it will take (approximately) to get your appointment?  If you find yourself going round the bend waiting for your appointment you could always ask them how long you may have to wait.  Hang on in there.  So many people have been in your shoes and the consensus is that waiting is awful.  But loads of people here are happy to wish you well and chat whenever you wish.  Annie

Seriously - a lesion can mean anything, you may have been living with this for decades without realising it.
If it is something serious, all you can do is go with the flow and take things one day at a time. 

I won't say don't worry as you'd be crazy not to be worried but try to keep yourself together and concentrate on how many people have positive outcomes today due to advances in medical science.

sorry your going through this stress but i find google is the worst place to look for advice. it told my daughter she had cancer because of her symptoms. She has IBS! hopefully it wont be anything too serious.

I’ve had a call from my GP today to say she has received my second lot of scans back.  She’s said they look more positive and it looks like a epidermoid cyst, which means non cancerous.  Surely she wouldn’t say that to me if she didn’t want to build my hopes up?  Still unsure whether I need surgery or if it can be operated on because of its position.  I’ve spoken to the hospital and it will go before board next Wednesday then we will go from there xxx

So far so good by the sound of it.  I know it is still more waiting but at least they haven't given you any news to worry about.  If you would be so kind as to let us know what is happening next - when you find out -  we would be grateful to hear of your progress.  Annie

Thanks Annie, I’m still very worried, I feel like I have a huge ball in my stomach, I can hardly eat, I feel sick - I’m guessing that’s stress!   ️
