Had surgery three weeks ago. Results today to tell me what the thyroid nodule was. Waited 1.5 hours only to be told they weren’t in.

Third time this has happened to me; biopsy, petscan and now this!!!

Sorry for the rant. Surely there could be a phone call system- sorry- your results aren’t in..

Hi SophieN,
I can understand this is hugely frustrating. Hopefully now you have another appointment booked to get your results? And I hope that you have a better experience this time.
The uncertainty and the waiting is often the hardest, so it can be particularly difficult if you're expecting something at a certain time which doesn't arrive.
I want to wish you all the very best for your results and I hope you are finding this forum a helpful place to be.

Thank you for your reply. I haven’t had another appointment through no. They said they’d call me when the results were in to arrange another appointment. They haven’t. They said this last time and it ended up me chasing them up... I’ll try on Monday

If on Wednesday, I still haven’t got my results- that’s a month since surgery- crazy. X
