Breast thickening, lump...sore swollem arm?

Hi ladies

I have posted a few times recently as currwntly waiting on my breast clinic appointment, i am 30 years old, single parent to 2 girls (age 8 & 4)

I have thickening at one side of my right breast and doctor found a lump in same breast, it will be 2 weeks this thursday since my referral went through but still havent heard anything!

In the past month i have been getting a cold icy, almost burning sensation in my right breast and in the last 2 weeks i have a sore, almost 'dead' feeling arm....this morning my arm is swollen :(

I am exhausted and so worried!

Has anyone had the swollen arm and not had cancer?

I have a horrible gut feeling but want to be prepared for bad news, have you had arm/neck/shoulder pain when diagnosed?

Any help much appreciated xx

  • Hi,

sorry to jump on this post but I just wondered what your outcome was? I have had the same symptoms as yourself and have my appointment at the hospital on Wednesday but I cannot stop worrying. I have two young children like yourself 2 & 4 and literllay cannot stop crying at night at the thought of leaving them. My arm is tender and sore with a contact full ache, I have a lump on my right hand breast and shoulder blade pain on and off for the last 6 months. I originally went to my gp 6 months again with shoulder blade and breast pain who told me that it sounded like a pulled muscle and nothing to worry about. A lim has now appeared on my breast along with a discomfort under my armpit.

I hope you had some good news and all is well.

    Love

    claire xx
