  • Hi Denbella,

Please try not to worry, easier said than done though!

The best advice is make an appointment to see your GP and discuss your concerns and symptoms.

I started to experience symptoms of Ovarian Cancer which were getting worse, and as I have a strong family history of Ovarian Cancer in my family I made and appointment to see my doctor who arranged an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed a large cyst on my right ovary so I am now under the care of a consultant at the hospital and will get my results from my MRI on Wednesday. This has all happened in 2 months so if you are concerned please see your doctor who can look into your symptoms. Make notes of everything you have experienced as somethings you can forget little things that might be important.

Fingers crossed its nothing to be worried about xx

  • hi

thank you for replying. i have an appointment wtih my GP in the morning. i'm absolutely terrifed in what they will say or find. my symptoms have not really got worse just stayed much the same. i know it doesn't help much me being severely overweight.

that is good advice thank you.

i hope your tests come back ok.

  • Again, it's easy to say but please try to stop worrying. Your doing the best thing by going and getting checked out. Most symptoms are usually linked to less serious problems and the likely hood of it being something suspicious is slim.

I was like you and absolutely petrified about what they might find, but it's best if it is something, that they find it sooner rather than later!

I hope it all goes well tomorrow and you get some good advice x

  • thats very true, i am a real worrier, to the point i make myself sick with worry.

i'm the worlds worst at googling my symptoms.

    thank you for understanding.
